Cochrane Street acts as the palimpsest of Central in Hong Kong. To activate this memorable inclined pathway, a tilted multi-functional ground is proposed to perform as a mixture of water drainage system and a user-friendly pathway.
Looking at the empty void was once solidify
Lines and marks that revealed on the surface,
suggested the hints of its past.
The surface of rough concrete emerges soft and thin lines,
Just like the wrinkles of an old lady that marked endless stories in her life.
Interpretation of a specific city narrative is three dimensionally explored through tectonics, structure, form, order, pattern and urban thresholds to roughly the size of 15 cm x 15 cm x 30 cm in gypsum.

Everyone has his/her own imagination of Utopia, and mine comes up vaguely in my dream. In my mind, the only thing I hear is sea wave; and what I see is the colorful shadow of running gears, in which breakthrough the ideology of windows…
